DECLARATION OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS
MOVE STUDIO Terms and Conditions
Declaration
All Parents by enrolling their child/ren in MOVE Studio Dance Classes confirm and accept that they have read and are bound by these Terms and Conditions outlined in this document.
FEES
1.1. Only EFT payments will be accepted. No cash deposits.
1.2. Parents acknowledge that class fees are payable in advance, however, there exists facilities for an annual payment upon request with 5% discount when paid before 31 January.
1.3. Class fees are calculated annually and divided into 10 monthly instalments (1 Feb- 30 Nov).
1.4. Monthly fees are payable in advance by the 1 st of each month starting in February.
1.5. A R50-00 admin fee will be charged on all late payments received after the 7th of that month as indicated above for every month that your account is in arrears.
1.6. Should any instalment on the account become overdue, the whole balance of the fee outstanding will immediately become due, owing, and payable by the Parent. No indulgence or grant of time by MOVE STUDIO will constitute a waiver and MOVE STUDIO reserves the right to deny the child to participate in dance classes as well as the annual dance show.
1.7. 50% discount of monthly fee will only apply if a new student join after the 15th of that month, excluding January.
1.8. MOVE STUDIO reserves the right to suspend all classes to pupils with outstanding balances as described in item 1.2 of the terms and conditions, till the relevant payments have been made.
REFUNDS
2.1. When the relationship with MOVE STUDIO is terminated in the first month of joining the annual administration fee shall be deducted.
2.2. MOVE STUDIO reserves the right to amend the fees and the Parent agrees and accepts that the fees may be amended from time to time.
CANCELLATIONS
3.1. Cancellation of classes requires a 30-day prior notice.
3.2. MOVE STUDIO fees are mandatory and nonrefundable. Nonattendance for any reason will result in the forfeit of the related class fee.
3.3. No classes will be given on public holidays, public school holidays or private school holidays unless previously arranged.
3.4. Schools following private school terms, will have a total of 30 classes annually.
3.5. MOVE STUDIO does not accept liability for any injury to pupils during class time or on the premises.
3.6. All parents or guardians are obliged to inform the teacher should any medical conditions develop during the pupil’s attendance at MOVE STUDIO classes.
3.7. MOVE STUDIO does not accept responsibility for personal damage to, or loss of property, however caused.
3.8. Right of admission to classes is reserved, parents will be invited to attend specific parent days.
3.9. MOVE Studio reserves the right to stop dancing lessons, should your child’s behavior affect the lessons negatively.
3.10 All parents or guardians must inform MOVE STUDIO should any personal information change during the year.
PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
4.1. By signing this enrollment form, and unless you at any time instruct MOVE STUDIO expressly and in writing to the contrary, your consent is given for MOVE STUDIO to:
4.1.1. collect, store and process credit information about you and any Third Party or divorced or separated Parent responsible for payment of any or all amounts comprised in the Fees.
4.1.2. collect, store and process names, contact details and information relating to yourself and your Child, and to such information being made available to other parents/guardians, staff or responsible persons engaged or authorised by MOVE STUDIO for Class-related purposes to the extent required for the purpose of managing relationships between the studio, parents/guardians, and current learners as well as providing references and communicating with the body of former learners.
4.1.3. include photographs, with or without name, of your Child in MOVE STUDIO publications, or in press releases to celebrate the Studio’s or your Child’s activities, achievements, or successes.
4.1.4. inform any other school or educational institution to which you propose to send your Child of any outstanding fees.
4.1.5. MOVE STUDIO may not distribute or otherwise publish any of your personal information in its possession, unless you give your consent, in writing, to the studio that it may do so. Should this be the case, the studio may only distribute or otherwise publish the information specified in your consent to the people and for the purpose stated in your written consent.
